Porto San Giorgio is situated in the coastal area of The Marche, .
It’s a pleasant seaside resort with attractive sandy beaches, numerous facilities and a well-equipped marina.
All along its seafront there are lots of beach bars and good restaurants offering a variety of local sea foods.
The town boasts fine examples of Liberty Style architecture, private villas built at the beginnin of the 20th century.
Particular mention should be made of Villa Bonaparte (beginning 19th century), belonging to Girolamo Bonaparte.
Well preserved is also the ancient village, with the 13th-century fortress standing closed by the central square.
